There are certain tough subjects that are never easy to address with your kids. Maybe you were caught off-guard. Maybe you'd prepared everything you wanted to say, but still felt uncomfortable. What's the most difficult question or subject you've ever had to deal with?

When the hampster died. My daughter wanted to know where it went, what it felt, when it would be back. I explained evertying I could but there were stil soooo many questions.
Stuff like where babies come from and death and illness and war are all obviously difficult. But I acutally think questions like "why don't men wear dresses" are equally hard. I want to teach my kids to be open-minded and accepting while still giving a clear perception of the world which is that, in general, most men wear don't wear dresses. I try to help them meet poeple and friends from lots of different backgrounds. Hopefully that helps
Swearing. We're a city family so my kids here people on the street cursing and using bad words. They want to know what those words mean and/or why people are using them if they're bad.
