Principles of Dignity for Young Kids

1. All people deserve to be respected and treated fairly. All people deserve the chance to live a happy and satisfying life.

2. Everyone should have the chance to be the best they can be! We all deserve the opportunity to learn, earn money, be safe, and be healthy.

3. All people deserve freedom! We should be allowed to make choices about our lives.

4. Give dignity and respect in everything you do.

5. Always treat others the same way you’d want to be treated yourself. Having dignity and respect in your own life means you have to treat others that same way!

These guidelines have been adapted for young kids from the Dignity Principles of the Global Dignity organization.
