Kate Simmons began her freelance writing career as an educational writer and reviewer of media products for children. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and currently teaches Pre-Kindergarten in Austin, Texas. She developed an after-school science enrichment program for the young children at her school, and she admires how their curiosity and love of learning make them natural scientists!
