Yes. Giving up a child for adoption is a hard choice for a birth parent to make and they think about the child often. Just because birth parents aren't able to take care of their children doesn't mean they don't love them and it doesn't mean they will ever forget them. Parents who have adopted a baby or child love their child too. Most parents who adopt children talk to their kids about their birth parents and their adoption story over and over to help them sort out their feelings about being adopted.
