Burps, Bugs, and Boogers – A Good Pick!

° Special smells. – Kids always want to know how stinky things got their funk. Why does cheese smell?, Why does poop smell?, Why do feet smell?, Why does asparagus make your pee smell funny? (And this is only the beginning!)

° Embarrassing sounds. – The body can be an orchestra of impolite noises! Why do our burps and our farts and our growling stomachs sound so funny??

° Bacteria, bugs, and beyond. – Some of the smallest creatures are often the grossest. What is mold?, Why are cockroaches dirty?, Do flies spit on everything they touch?, What is a dung beetle?

° Forbidden edibles. – Why are boogers salty?, Why can't I eat dirt? …Most kids go through a phase where they put everything, no matter how gross or how dirty, into their mouths.

° “Grown-up stuff.” – Kissing and love might not be “yucky” topics to you, but there are definitely some eight-year-old boys who would disagree.

° Funny colors. – Green snot, yellow pee, brown poo. If there’s a specific color to go with a bodily function, kids will want to know why. It’s a whole rainbow of gross!
